Mario Bottero is Co-Founder and Partner at Calisan Venture Capital, where he brings over two decades of experience building and scaling businesses across real estate, energy, and emerging industries. His career has been defined by a consistent ability to identify high-potential opportunities, structure strategic partnerships, and guide ventures from early concept through commercial execution.
Prior to co-founding Calisan, Mario served as a founding principal of RoseWater Management Group, where he played an integral role in growing the firm from a startup into a company responsible for more than 2.4 million square feet of commercial and residential development. He also co-founded RoseWater Energy, demonstrating a proven track record of launching and operating ventures across multiple industries. Throughout his career, Mario has worked directly with major national retailers, automotive brands, and real estate institutions. This experience that gives him and his portfolio companies a meaningful advantage when navigating enterprise sales cycles, or building credibility with established industry partners.

Marco Lorenti is Co-Founder and Partner at Calisan Venture Capital, where he brings over two decades of experience building businesses, cultivating strategic relationships, and driving commercial growth across real estate, industrial, and consumer sectors. His career reflects a consistent ability to identify emerging markets early, build high-value partnerships, and scale organizations from the ground up.
Marco co-founded RoseWater Management Group in 1997, growing it from a startup into a company responsible for more than 2.4 million square feet of commercial, residential, and industrial space across Ontario. Before that, he worked in the automotive industry, managing multiple automotive dealerships and he was handpicked by Toyota Canada to serve on the national marketing committee for the Canadian launch of Lexus; becoming the youngest person appointed to that committee. His experience spanning consumer brands, institutional real estate, and high-growth startups gives him an unusually broad lens for evaluating businesses and the markets they operate in.
Throughout his career, Marco has worked with major national organizations giving him the experience that informs how he helps portfolio companies navigate institutional relationships and accelerate commercial traction.
